heart wrenching story with the most doomed pairing ever. the character development that takes place is cool and unique in theory, but in practice created a really somber atmosphere that takes some of the magic out of the characters

bittersweet with a love triangle designed to piss people off… but i like how it ended. the characters definitely have an archetype, but some characters needed play a larger role in the plot and lean into their characterization more to be worthwhile for this story. i would have loved a little more push and pull from the love interests, but most of them ended up being shallow and uninteresting. love the main characters though

idol isekai with god tier art. in my years of reading yaoi ive never seen panels so beautiful in my life i could cry. the characters are all endearing in their own way and the first season was very compelling… but the second season has been feeling stale. i would love to see the plot pick up and some interesting plot developments… but the story seems to be secondary to the copious scenes of these zesty little idol boys acting quirky

problematic but campy as hell period

super cute cartoony romance that was never completed in my heart. this ending felt so obviously rushed and the side character story was set up but unfortunately never explored. there was potential for a side couple or even better maybe even a love square. i love this story for how camp it is, but i would have loved to see it fully realized

complex story that keeps somehow escalating but stays easy to follow. i am definitely invested but the stakes are high and there is still so much plot left. a fall from grace is definitely possible but i pray for good times to come

some (me) might refer to this as the og nostalgic queer awakening yaoi bible. ending gets a little problematic out of left field which left a bitter taste in my mouth, especially with how sacred, pure, and perfect the original volumes are. moments of cringe but to be cringe is to be… cringe. mafuyu is the twink of all time who deserves to be cherished and loved until the end of humanity and watching him heal with his bass playing lover boy warmed my bitter misandrist gooncel heart

the fall off must be studied. the story was so compelling, the art breathtaking, the character dynamic was impeccable and the sexual tension was top tier… but season two has been nothing but goonslop??? the art is still good but the story itself has fallen off so much. it is hard to say whether or not this story can be saved, but it isn’t looking promising
