More than meh, but still not enough

It's slowburn and wholesome and soft and the sister is amazing

Unproblematic and a bit stupid but good for casual read

I had initially really liked it and had a lot of fun, even when the plot turned darker. But, unfortunately, the later half of the story feels incredibly rushed. So many plotlines and characters were introduced but we're not truly utilized. But I really did enjoy the begining portions incredibly. And the art style is truly phenomenal. The end just feels...... incomplete.

This had potential and I genuinely might reread it. The issue was the season 1 was good, but season 2 onwards, the artstyle changed, the plot became rushed and everything was solved just very conveniently and somehow mostly behind the scenes that was shown through montages. But it's still an okay read I guess.

ayumu only likes cats and cries a lot, he starts having a crush on haruki, as does haru, his nephew, they both get their heart broken and fall for each other instead

They're eachother's first loves but because of miscommunication they broke up and now they're meeting again at the same company after 10 years
I absolutely love the last chapter, showing how they've both grown and matured and are trying and maybe, just maybe, this time they'll last forever

I love both characters so much and the dialogues are simply breathtaking
However, the author is allergic to giving her characters a break, so much so, that, it ends in a low-key open ending where the characters don't know where they're heading but they're sure they'll be okay because they 100% are committed to each other
Which is a sort of happy open ending I guess
Anyways tho, I love the art style, writing style, and the characters
