That was so hard to read. I was constantly on the verge of dropping this. MC is clearly the victim (how much pain can one person endure?), but it’s frustrating how he keeps pushing ML away and causing more trouble for himself out of pride and trauma. All in all, a very good story/dynamic. But the ML’s behavior is extreme and toxic. I dropped the novel after Taei and Ilay’s reunion (after Xinlu’s kidnapping from Rahmans villa) because the rape scene was too brutal for me. The manwha is softer.
