That was so hard to read. I was constantly on the verge of dropping this. The story is often confusing, with constant new characters and twists that make the plot hard to follow, likely on purpose to mirror the MC’s chaos. Still, the action is thrilling and the emotions hit hard. The relationship is extremely toxic and aggressively sexual, sometimes hard to understand, but their slow development has some rewarding moments.

All in all, a very good story/dynamic. But the ML’s behavior is extreme and toxic. I dropped the novel after Taei and Ilay’s reunion (after Xinlu’s kidnapping from Rahmans villa) because the rape scene was too brutal for me. The manwha is softer.
