Unrequited love... or maybe not? (Yaoi)

Age gap / Opposites attract
Older Tsundere uke x Younger Needy Sunshine seme
Uncensored

Cute short story. SPOILER: The MC keeps complaining that he’s constantly being dumped by guys. Then our sweet ML shows up and everything fits. But the MC wants only to date older guys and keeps shutting him down over and over again (sex is obviously fine though). I don’t understand this. Does this actually happen in real life? When everything else is right? Feels like unnecessary drama to me.

Was nice to read. Mostly smut.

Drama / Unrequited love / Seme falls first

Uke is kinda a pain in the ass. Chapter 19: "Why are you so nice to me?" Eh... he stated from the beginning that he wants to date you? You of all people should know what unrequited love feels like.

Threesome / Poly? / From Friends to/with Benefits/Lovers

Historical / Royalty / Mpreg
Misunderstandings / Drama / Seme fell first
Guard/Detective uke x Obsessive Red flag Crown Prince seme

The story was decent but very predictable. The MC is really reckless and dumb for a captain. The ML is a complete drama queen, obsessive, manipulative and selfish. Some character choices were very questionable. Chapter 14 was shocking and borderline abusive. But ML could also be genuinly sweet to the MC.

This is a Masterpiece. The story is tragic, dramatic and full of angst. The characters are well written. The smut is hot.
