this one hit me home because I have experienced the pain of being so attached to a person that when you feel them trying to grow apart from you, and using you, your heart feels hollow. Part of our daily lives include separations and disappointments, the fact the main characters managed to regain their lost relationship, and how they left their toxic past behind, somehow represented my wish to regain my lost ties to old friends I lost on the way, a desire I can't accomplish.
