All in all, a very good story/dynamic. But the ML’s behavior is extreme and toxic. I dropped the novel after Taei and Ilay’s reunion (after Xinlu’s kidnapping from Rahmans villa) because the rape scene was too brutal for me. The manwha is softer.

The story is very interesting, exciting and full of action. However, the relationship between the MC and ML (as well as with other characters) is very toxic. The MC is forced and raped. It pissed me off that the ML didn’t care about the MC’s suffering (at the beginning).

Very dramatic. Lot of smut. The short version is actually different from the long story (seme ist much crazier, more unpredictable and more violent). Unlike many other commenters, I actually like the development and redemption arcs, when the seme turns out to be good and makes the uke his top priority (even if it’s completely unrealistic). Seme reminds me of Asami from Finder.
