I wish it were longer but I also adore that ending. It's realistic in the way it ends.

Very interesting, digs into the mind of an extreme sadist that has to choose whether to let himself love and hurt his partner or be celibate and let those he loves safe and sound. It's very nice to see he is not an asshole, he is deeply aware of his fetish and how damaging it is and he feels horrible about finding pleasure in the boood pf people. He is very humane.
