Literally no red flags here. One of the sweetest, fluffiest things you could possibly read. It’s the classic introverted country boy x extroverted city boy dynamic, which I personally fucking love. Uke works on his family’s farm and seme is a wildlife photographer that traveled to the countryside. Uke let’s the seme lodge with him, and the seme gets him to open up and introduces him to photography. It’s just the cutest thing ever.
Pretty small enemies to lovers moment, more like they’re competitive & tease each other than actual enemies. They are both very spirited firefighters that are training together. There’s some tension at first, but nothing red-flag waving. There are a couple wrinkles in their relationship that get resolved, but I find their relationship to be realistically human. Their dynamic is so cute and funny, makes me kick my little feet under the covers.
First off, this manga is fucking hilarious, I adore this couple to bits. They’re dynamic is similar to Contradict (right above this one), but it’s with a current cop and a retired cop that used to work together and end up meeting again after some time. There’s a bit of an age gap (10 years), but the seme truly just loves the uke for who he is as a person and it’s the sweetest thing ever.
Def one of my favorite couples. Their dynamic is incredible and the story is fucking hilarious. Uke is definitely a bit of a hot mess, but seme fully just loves him for who he is and it’s just so SWEET! The uke deals with a lot of personal/family issues, and the seme is always there for him. When they get into spats, they are so quick to forgive each other.. I could go on. They’re just the cutest.
The patience, the understanding, the love…holy shit this was just beyond cute and sweet. The beginning’s a bit rocky, as the seme is an older divorced man who’s only ever dated women, and it takes a bit for the uke to open up. But man, the level of patience and consideration the seme had towards building the uke’s trust in him was soul healing.
The first 20-30 chapters are kinda confusing and odd, but push past them and this couple (mainly the seme) is so funny and sweet it fucking rots my teeth. Just all the cheesy pet names you can imagine. Uke has a bit of short fuse (nothing crazy, it’s mostly funny), but it honestly makes for a good dynamic. The seme holding back his angry chihuahua of a boyfriend is just gold.
