This one’s shorter, but is rly cute and I can tell they’re going to be such a clingy couple which I love
(not too much bc they just started dating but..)
Unfortunately this does follow a stereotype I see in almost every new gen shoujo, which is the mc being literally the same person in all of them (really shy, has short black hair, and has one single trait that makes the ML like her). Other than that I have no complaints and it actually is one of the best new gen shoujos I have read, and the best one I have read with this stereotype.
One of my all time favorites. Such a classic, I definitely recommend it if you like to see realistic couples. Also if you like seeing a good amount of alone couple time in your reads. Unfortunately the FL gets sa’d a good amount….(3-4 times?) It’s clearly not written with the intention of making the FL a victim or like actually being sa, it just like.. is, so yeah. If you can ignore that it’s rly good tho
(I love her as an mc but I know some don’t)
This is one with a trope I haven’t really seen before, I like how they’re on equal footing with popularity instead of the common super popular hot guy and average nobody girl.
I love this one! My only issue is that they only get together at the very end which I hate but I still think everyone should read this at least once, their relationship is so cute and I liked watching them talk.
This is definitely not for everybody, especially because it has a lot more drama than romance which I thought I would hate, but if you’re a true switch girl you will absolutely love this (no judging if you aren’t tho). Unfortunately, there’s a lot of sa, but the author doesn’t take it seriously, just using it as fuel for drama, so you just have to kind of ignore it like the author does. (slightly touchy)
This is definitely one of those mangas you read once and absolutely love, but then read over again and are like “wtf this is rly bad….”, still would recommend because I really loved it my first read! Just over the second I realized yuki kind of sucks, but I honestly still enjoy rereading sometimes… just not the whole thing
I have never seen anyone dislike this story. Characters are very realistic and I love how they mention specific traits of them liking/not liking stuff, because a lot of mangas don’t add in that detail. Like they just feel like real people I love it sm
Love this one! It’s a little angsty in the beginning which makes it rly good, and I don’t usually like popstar ones but this is okay bc they’re best friends which is always very awesome
This is almost like hibi chouchou, with basically everyone liking her but thinking she’s way to pure and out of their league. They make solid progress in their relationship despite that, and the flower explanations make this manga truly special. Also I have never wanted an ML to be real this bad. Akira is just the perfect mix of man I love him so much
(diamond for plot bc I love all the flower explanations)
