This is so fun!! It doesn’t actually fit with this list’s description but it’s SO close. Uke is an esper who somehow travels to a world like his but it’s not in ruins. He meets this world’s version of himself who dies in front of him and he begins living in this world as him. The original him was meek and a D-class guide, but the current-him came from a world where he was strong mentally and physically to the point he regularly killed espers and survived as a one-person unit
