Mangas I have rated a 4 star and above from a variety of genres. Most of them are lesser-known, but there are definitely popular series in here as well & works by same author are put next to each other.
NOTE: These are my opinions!! Some on here have A) been impactful reads that I don't recommend (i.e., Fire Punch) and B) ones that I have noted have bad aspects that I also don't like from the overall (also FP, for example). If you don't like don't read it. The end.
Ok I have this on here b/c I actually read FP before CSM, BUT I actually do not recommend FP because this series is a mindfuck (I think there's a reason why it was Fujimoto's first). This is a manga about nihilism and I think there are arcs in the series that are so great, but also plot arcs (nvm the very overt inc*st vibe...) that are so useless. Togata arc is great. I don't think I can in good faith write a full review here b/c there's discourse
NOTE: Been on indefinite hiatus due to author's health problems so this is essentially discontinued.
This series will always have a place in my favorites, I LOVE IT. It's such a shame it will probably never be complete, but I seriously love it, the main trio is great (and they're all hot ayyy), and it's both serious and funny, with decent action. 4/5
