Showa Era, 1941. Heir of the Kuramoto family, Soutaro, has just returned to Japan after living in Germany for the past few years. While looking for his estranged childhood friend Haruomi, heir of a famous family of traditional dancers, wanting to reconcile, Soutarou discovers he occasionally dances at an exclusive restaurant, Tachibana. Desiring to both apologize to Haruomi and see his beautiful dancing once again, Soutaro begins working as a servant at the restaurant, hiding his true identity.
Ch. 5-6: Takabayashi, a bodyguard, is enamored with pole dancer Arisu and becomes jealous when he thinks Arisu has been seeing a customer
Kou and Nagisa are pole dancers at the same club. Serious and dedicated Kou is the current number one and hides a burn on his eye, while Nagisa is arrogant and shallow. Due to their opposing personalities, the two argue regularly. But, when Nagisa watches Kou's performance for the first time, he is changed by the realization he is lacking. As the two practice together, they become more drawn to each other.
When Taiyo's parents transfer to Tokyo for work, he has the chance to join the same dance team as Takato, the dancer he admires. Takato becomes interested in Taiyo, due to his dance skills, despite his lack of any real training. After Taiyo confesses he loves Takato, as a fan, Takato misunderstands his confession, kissing Taiyo and saying "Let's date." However, Oosawa, team instructor and Takato's childhood friend, has a problem with Taiyo's admiration for Takato
