Unfinished and will stay that way

Dropped at ch 70. I got bored of it. There's nothing inherently wrong with the story, I just couldn't get past the pacing. I only put it on this list because this isn't the first time I've become incredibly bored reading this story, and, if I gave it a 4th chance, I sincerely doubt it wouldn't end the same way (with me dropping).

Dropped at ch 25. It's filled with cliches and the story isn't all that unique. I wouldn't say the FL is completely stupid (though she does make a lot of... interesting decisions), but the plot armour is carrying her a lot. "Dark confinement novel" and it's just a lavish life where the people who are SUPPOSED to be suspicious of her and her actions don't question it at all when her response to taking out money or stockpiling leather is "secret!"

I'm sorry but being a misogynistic prick isn't a good enough excuse to justify rape. They had a good start with the first guy, but what ended up happening with the second just pissed me off. No one deserves that no matter how horrible they are.

Can't remember what chapter I dropped it by, but either way I don't love incest. If it's the kind of pseudo-incest where both know the other isn't their sibling extremely early on? Sure, I can get over that and suck it up. but it's hard to tell when he realized she wasn't family. That kind of blurred line isn't something I can look past. Either you commit, or you don’t.

Dropped at chapter 2. She essentially tries blackmailing him by saying she'll tell everyone he likes getting tied up. Weird shit. There's lots of better ways to go about it. I don't think I could read a story and be over it after that especially when it's such a key moment in their relationship.
It's just not something I personally enjoy.

Dropped by ch 2. Made no sense to me. I couldn't believe any of their feelings for each other, it happened way to fast for me to be convinced. In my opinion, the pacing was abysmal.

Dropped by ch 18. I feel like they tried to make a badass, cool female lead but she just comes across as unserious.

Not my thing at all. The male lead is a manipulative, frustrating pos who decided it was a good idea to divorce a girl but refuses to let her have sex with anyone else but himself because of his own jealousy. All without her knowledge of it.

Dropped by ch 18. I wanted to enjoy it, I really did. I like dominant women in stories. But for this I couldn't take it.. both the male lead and the female lead are so annoying.
While the female lead has an excuse since she's not human and therefore probably has been raised differently and doesn't understand us, it doesn't make her any less of a frustrating character. As for the male lead, he's so whiny and butts his head into everything he doesn't need to.

Dropped at ch 20. I got spoiled and learned why this story isn’t tagged as bl. I was kinda hoping for found family or a slow burn. It’s just my own expectations that ruined it for myself, nothing to do with the story or writing itself :(
