Classic MMORPG style, but with great world building, characters, and art.

A bit of a slower burn which is rare for isekai.
Sometimes it burns a bit *too slow* and when you read you’ll know what I mean.
Great world and setting, it feels like there’s actual danger for the MC despite being strong.
A lot of these stories get to the point where the MC is invincible by chapter 10; But this MC actually struggles.
Good read and a must-read for any isekai enjoyer.
One of my favorite isekai of all time.
Young man slowly changes in a new world he’s thrust into.
The story doesn’t feel too fast or too slow, though there are a good bit of time skips, it doesn’t mess up the flow.
My only complaint is that an academy is involved.
There’s a twist to the academy thing and it’s such a minor role overall in the story I forgive the author for including it.

Great manga.
Great pacing.
Great character building.
Man dies and gets reincarnated as a young girl.
The neat thing is, our main character retains the memories of both her lives.
The story doesn’t get stuck on the usual gender bender manga stereotypes that derail the story at random intervals.
It does have ‘eechi’ and more mature topics, so keep that in mind.
A favorite of mine, not because it’s adult/eechi, no.
But because it has CREATION MAGIC!
Such an OP magic type and it’s always a treat to see how the authors try to balance it.
First chapters are a bit rough, but it’s a treat after that.
A fun isekai that doesn’t feel like a ‘one town’ story.
The MC’s progress is unique in the sense there isn’t an MMORPG-like leveling system.
Each ‘arc’ doesn’t feel forced and flows naturally from one event to the next.
A rare read where it feels like everything is being fulfilled in one way or another.

A really fun well paced action isekai.
The story is a bit complicated, but not extremely.
Plot is like ‘this’, well no actually it’s like ‘this’… sike it’s actually ‘THIS’.
Lots of twists and turns as new info comes up, so you have to pay attention.
I’ve been following this one for ~8 years or so and it’s always fun to reread.
Good read
Everybody knows this one.
Man gets reincarnated as a slime but anything he eats, he gains one of their skills.
Eventually he starts to build a civilization and moves into politics.
It’s not all politics, there’s a good amount of action, and everything in the story flows really well from one arc to the next.
My only complaint is that it feels like the MC loses his agency sometimes to make the antagonists seem more of a problem than they should be.
Good manga with long chapters!
Not an isekai and kind of a regression.
Story takes the perspective of a demon lord working to regain himself after defeat at the hands of a hero.
The story is much deeper than my simple explanation, and I wish I knew more.
Lots of action, death, war.
One of the few manga I’ve read recently that had me upset I ran out of chapters.
