A fun but surreal read. Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service addresses the questions of death and regret in a way that is quirky and enjoyable, but still mature.

If there is one thing I'll say about the works of Buronson and Ikegami-sensei, it's that they're classics that didn't age well.

Beautiful art, clear cut tales of men struggling through adversity, only ruined by the sexualization of women. If you manage to stomach through it, what you have is an intense tale of brotherhood, love, politics, and tragedy.

This is a good series if you want something heavy and supernatural with some mystery. I felt the ending was a little iffy, but overall the story is worth it and rereadable.

Hideo Yamamoto is known in the seinen world to draw some of the most brutal and disturbing mangas you'll ever read. Ichi the Killer is one of them.

It's a story that tackles the issues of long-term trauma manifesting into ones harsh actions and twisted mind. If you can stomach it, and I mean REALLY stomach it, you'll come out finishing a pretty intense but interesting manga.

Honestly amazed this is finally getting officially serialized in English.

Another series by Yamamoto-sensei that's both disturbing and facinating, although this time less gory.

Homunculus brings up the question of one's self, how we create a mask that hides our authenticity, all because we can't fully express ourselves. Very disturbing and will get weird about underage characters and trans/ queer people, but worth getting into.

I personally think this is Ikegami and Buronsan's 2nd best work. It's a gripping tale of betrayal and revenge, which is usually not my cup of tea but this is an exception. It's presented like a crime drama, filled with action longing. While it does introduce unecessary incest by the end it's worth a read.
