Obligatory Senku aro-ace coded character here. The mc, Senku, is very much hard coded as aromantic and asexual- that while he has to fake relationships for his goals, its simply for his goals and nothing else. He is strictly into science and the pursuit of science.

While this story has grown popular for its explicit gay representation, it is noted that ‘Hikaru’ in the story is extremely aro-ace coded, impartial to romance and sex. While the rep is from a monstrous being (adding to bad stereotypes), the way he is written in how he considers love and sex is def relatable.

Also has a deep relationship with the mc Yoshiki, allo gay rep.

The character, ‘Someone-san’ is both aro-ace and x-gender (Japanese equivalent of non-binary and agender identities): with her core character being aloof and mysterious first confused by mc due to their asexuality, only to realise thats just part of who they are without their sexuality or not. Goes to the bigger theme of accepting others even if you don’t understand them fully.

The author is also aro-ace and x-gender!

While having not read this myself, I heard its a manga centered on metaphorising ‘devils’, humans who are addicted to blood and ‘transform’ , as sexuality.

There is two characters who do not ingest blood, transform in that way- written to be asexual. There is also an aromantic character slotted in there.

An overall very lgbt-full cast: of a transgender girl through the perspective of a cisgender girl in love with her.

The teacher side character is canonically aromantic, discussing those experiences in chapter 28-29 in particular.
