[♤-A] Real good stuff

When I think about iconic yaoi from the 2010s', this one is on the list. I read it ages ago, but I remember enjoying it lots. A somewhat dubious dynamic, questionable pacing, and lots of sex. Did it age well? Probably not. Do I regret buying the series for my bookshelf? Also probably not. I'll have to reread it someday.

I really liked this one. It definitely would have benefited from being longer. Despite that, I enjoyed it. The relationship is strange and strained in the best way. The drama is compelling, and the smut is nice. I really liked the 3P dynamic. I wish there was more. I feel like this is just 3-5 chapters short of being a personal favorite. A+.

It's fairly short but I enjoyed it. Drama, angst, prostitution and yakuza. The ending is pleasant in spite of the bleak beginning. I've yet to read Nights before Nights, but as a stand alone story, Mods is pretty good.

This manga is somehow both wildly uncomfortable to read and cute at the same time. The beginning does lean into the yaoi tag, but by the end it's more like a fluffy, somewhat somber (?) slice of life. A unique and engaging read for sure. It has a happy ending, but there is a gross, bitter feeling leftover. I liked it plenty. A+.

Started reading for the character designs but the story is nice. Just long enough to be compelling and doesn't drag at all. Really good lookin characters nd nice smut. Like., good god. Solid A.

Another one that starts off kinda silly but drops some unexpected angst halfway through. I liked the mutual blackmail plotline and relationship development. Ex was very hatable. Pretty good read.

I really, really liked this one. The psychological themes and the mutually unhealthy codependency is lovely. The art is also so so pretty. I do think this manga suffers from being as short as it is; A unique story like this could have been S-rank if it was allowed to build up over 10-15 chapters instead of 5. Still a banger.

A nice and angsty read. This manga has a dreary and somber feeling all throughout. Compelling drama with a happy ending. Solid A.
