I liked this one. It's messy in a kind of somber way. The uke was frustrating at times, but I couldn't hate him for it. Getting over a relationship of 5 years is hard, even if the guy kinda sucks. It's somehow refreshing to see a story that has the protagonist collapse back their old relationship, even if he feels worse for it, instead of just jumping into the new man's arms. Some things could have been a bit better but I did end up quite liking it. B+.
I liked the first story. I love the confinement trope a lot. I also enjoy the obessive behavior. However the second story was very very meh for me. I'd give the first story an A and the second a C as far as personal enjoyment goes.
I've never been a fan of band/music oriented manga tbh. However, I love Harada's stuff, and I ESPECIALLY love to see a seme going through the wringer (especially since this one is pretty grating at first). Not big on the initial plot but still very enjoyable.
Personal note to myself to not read historical mangas. I just can't get into them at all. Weh. Good story but I wasn't particularly invested in the characters or setting.
I love the angst all throughout. I read this quite some time ago, so I'm hesitant to put it in my A list until I reread it. I remember being somewhat taken aback by the side pairing, as they're a very sudden tone shift from the main couple.
I don't fully understand the insane hype this one got back in 2020? But it's by no means bad. Uke is very pretty, but I think the plot itself just isn't stand out to me. It's good, but not a favorite.
The concept is pretty good and I really liked the seme's design but the pacing feels off. This feels like a manga panned for 3 volumes forced to conclude in one. It's enjoyable but feels lacking.
