Also highlights how insidious grooming is, the affects of incest & pedophilia, how family members perpetrate abuse & violence by trying to ignore what was is happening, & how the victim can become the perpetrator. The panels of CSA were disturbing, as it should be, though can't help but wish it was implied but that is selfish of me. Shows the difficulty of convicted people trying to reintegrate into society, especially for those falsely accused & convicted.
Shows that trauma bond, the affects of incestuous sexual abuse on victims when they reach adulthood, how family members can perpetuate abuse by ignoring it & even blame the victim, & how the victim can become the perpetrator.
