Super wholesome high school love story with nice art, the creator does a great job getting across feeling and mood. I’ve read this one a hundred times, definitely in my top 5 favorites list. Anime adaptation too! (The anime isn’t as good sorry)
One of my favs. It’s wholesome with some spice, based on college students so they’re actually adults and you don’t have to feel weird about it. Really great art, pretty characters, and very immersive vibe that feels authentic to queer nightlife.
Beautiful art and beautiful story about a feminine boy pressured into pretending to be a girl growing up, and how constantly being misgendered his whole life affected him psychologically. This one is very beloved online, and even more so now since the author recently passed away very young. Warning! - It does have some dark themes and psychological elements.
Webtoon. Smut with plot, but the plot is actually good and the art is to die for omg. I don’t think the summary does it justice at all. Tsundere/self conscious bratty uke with a loving and praising brat tamer seme.
Not the best art in the world (though it does improve) but the story is nice with some psychological elements and it’s insanely popular, and some would argue a must for beginner BL readers. Anime adaptation also.
Webtoon. High school romance. There’s no way to describe the plot that doesn’t make it sound weird, but this is wholesome and soft just a nice read when you want something lighthearted.
Fake dating trope, webtoon. I really liked this one when I read it and the art is absolutely stunninggggg ugh. Also the creator commented on some fan art I made of it way back when complimenting me so I will forever love and be loyal to him
A mishap leading to an accidental confession all based on a misunderstanding, but ultimately leading to love anyway. I adore this manga So wholesome, such pretty art, such a cute story, features a bi lead, and has a live action adaptation! This is one of the few I’ve reread more than once. Possibly in my top 5 faves of all time.
High school romance. Really cute and touching story that reflects on how isolating it can be to be queer, and how nice it is to no longer feel alone. It’s a very happy and sweet romance.
Cute and innocent school romance with a really nice story about a Japanese culture club, that just makes you feel warm and a little nostalgic for something you’ve never experienced before.
