didn’t read the first couple since it seemed boring… but the 2nd COUPLE. incredible incredible stuff. the author hit literally every point in both character’s dev/healing arcs and left no stone unturned. just masterful stuff. like i usually get bored of just romance/drama, but this one held my attention even without action/epic conflict. start at chapter 65.2 (you will miss some context but imo it’s not that important) and you can continue reading all the way to chapter
still ongoing… wonderful, exciting crime/thriller writing on top of top-tier romance and character development. the characters each are forced to face their trauma in their own time and help each other heal. and it’s not just the main pairing! all the other major characters feel fleshed out, complex, and real. they are my babies
i was so sad this one came to a close early, but i still think it’s worth the read. i’ve read it 3 times myself. the slow burn romance is sooo worth it and the story is really gripping and well-written, not to mention the beautiful art. it really makes you think about what it means to be human <3
