Not the biggest fan of the first arc, but it does get better thankfully. The plot is interesting and I’m looking forward to watching it blossom further. But like most manhua’s, the translation is a bit off at times(that’s kinda to be expected tbh.)
It was promising in the beginning but feels as though it lost the plot halfway. I ended up completing giving up on it in later chapters because of both the side pairings. The main leads themselves felt a bit… boring? I couldn’t really see much chemistry between them and it felt stale and awkward at times. I feel like MC could have had more potential with the second leads, or that the second male leads could’ve made a potential couple themselves.
Probably won’t reread.
Good read, I was a bit surprised in who the main ML ended up being tbh. The only critiques I really have are that the conflicts didn’t feel too… serious? Each one wrapped up rather quickly and the end of the in universe game felt anticlimactic. It felt more like they were trying to distract us. I feel like they could’ve fleshed out the main villain a bit more than just making him some kind of spoiled sadist as well as the chemistry between the main pair. Kael makes more sense
It’s cute but the ML’s affection for the MC just kinda hits you out of nowhere, I wish the author would’ve built up their chemistry a bit more especially considering it feels onesided at times. I don’t feel any real chemistry on the MC’s side.
The main antagonist feels… stale? I hope they flesh out more of a backstory about the family rivalries otherwise the villain just feels like a cartoon villain tbh. I hope he becomes more of a threat later on.
The translation can be a bit confusing at times, but most of the arcs are interesting. And Disclaimer; Each MC in each arc is a different character, it was a bit confusing at first because they didn’t really mention it except for maybe into the third? Fourth? Whatever arc.
The current arc is perhaps one of my favorites.
At first glance this does look like a simple time loop story, but it becomes more and more obvious that the ML is a transmigrator in some form.
Interested to see how this plays out. However WARNING; There does appear to be incest/forced intimacy between the main antagonist and a side character being uncle/nephew. Not a fan and genuinely considered dropping the story when I first saw it, but it also drives to make you hate the villain more and the main couple/plot intrigues me.
I Have To Be A Great Villain
