When Carcél was only 6, Inés Valeztena de Perez rejects the imperial prince, and points to him. "I like your face," she said. And so, they were betrothed.
...But what's her deal? She dresses all in black, and looks like a crow. She picked him when they were kids because of his face, now she says she's not interested in him?
"This marriage will fail anyways." Well," Carcél said, "I don't consent to that!"
It's refeshing af. Incredibly basic, but all characters introduced make sense with the plot, every twist is both very predictable but still super exciting to see play out. I wish I slept on this longer.
Peak BEYOND peak. The only story that I wanted to see past the wedding... Judith's dresses get so much better towards the end, and the MC and ML are both airheads so their relationship is a little lame but so so good. I loved every character in this, especially Luca.
I read this twice. And I'll read it again!
Remelia is a character— a horrible villainess— in a game who gets exiled by her fiancee, the crown prince. Before that happens, though, her body gets taken over by a girl named Emi.
Emi tries her best to change Remelia's fate; but she can't. The world is too powerful. And right when the prince annouces her exhile, Remelia wakes up. And now it's her turn to take back what's hers.
