beta x beta in a world where fated mates are romanticized and same sex couples between alphas and omegas are considered normal, but there’s prejudice and heteronormativity against same sex beta couples, who can’t copulate even though humans had specifically mutated for the purpose of more copulation.

such a cool and unique concept … idk liked it a lot … its a short and impactful bittersweet story.

this is so good im crying. two betas forced to pretend to be an alpha/omega for an arranged marriage. while pretending to be an omega dahoon didnt want to bottom so instead he decided to top the “alpha”. absolute cinema.

lowkey has same face syndrome but i love the concept and their personalities so much that i still really like this HAHAHA

beta mc, alpha x beta endgame

pokes fun at a lot of a/b/o tropes and drama from an outsider’s perspective lol. (a specific a/o couple that later gets a side story. skipped it bc comments said it was ass) mc is super turned off by it all and is resolute in never dating alphas or omegas (but gains their attention anyway). he’s in denial for a while and uses some homophobic-sounding rhetoric about beta x a/o couples but overcomes his internalized prejudice with the help of the alpha ml

so much secondhand embarrassment bc theyre so fucking stupid but its part of its charm and completely worth it

alpha is super prideful but also kind of woke and so fucking downbad and pathetic i love it. he talks abt alpha privilege and alpha/beta marriage legalization and does everything he can to prove that he doesnt care that the beta isnt an omega. theres also a brief love triangle with an omega falling for the beta too and im a huge sucker for that

first 3 chaps are an alpha/omega pair, and the rest (9 chaps) are an alpha/beta pair

the beta has a ton of insecurities and an inferiority complex toward non-betas bc of his upbringing. he felt like he lost the omega he loved to his fated partner and is unwilling to open his heart back up. interesting takes on fated mates, both giving into and fighting destiny/fate. its pretty indepth and explores the pov and experiences of all sec genders.

eh.. i like the mc but not the a+o. they treated him horribly, but mc isnt a doormat, and does Not let them victimize themselves when they start groveling and begging for forgiveness and even calls them out on it. he deserves better but ig i kinda get why he accepted them in the end (spoiler)(trauma + fear of abandonment)

beta mc is extremely painfully dense and it kind of hurts to watch, plus is completely oblivious to the alpha scenting him like crazy lol. there’s some drama with his ex who’s also an alpha, otherwise not much atm as its still ongoing

beta ex-idol who left the group due to constant online harassment as the only beta now works as a manager and gets assigned to an alpha actor with a bad reputation. interesting exploration of prejudice against celebs based on their sec gender that lead to malicious rumours and comments

the alpha’s switch up confused me a little and i still dont rly get why he was so cold in the beginning but that might just be me. also this is not his first rodeo in bottoming for sure

beta x alpha, more focus on alpha mc

a heavier story with an alpha detective who’s forced into rut while investigating a case involving drugs, collapses in the streets, and gets taken in by a beta doctor/surgeon who helps him through it. iykwim. the case is interesting and the story is pretty compelling imo. also the art is sooo fire
