▹ Younger Seme (John): he was an orphan taken in by the church when he met the uke (uke was a deacon in that church and later became its priest) and quickly became unhealthily obsessed with him. At some point, the priest had to kick John out of the church and this betrayal is what drives him even more insane.
▸ Older Uke (Peter): he's not that pure-hearted of a man in the present but he still seems very self-sacrificing and have good intentions.
▹ Younger Seme (Dawn): After his parents died when he was just a child, Dawn received a letter from his godfather (uke) who promised to always be there for him if he needed help. Dawn held onto that letter for years until he grows up and finds the man that made this promise (and quickly falls in love with him).
▸ Older Uke (Hames): Hames is very kind and nurturing, he immediately spoils and takes care of Dawn when the boy comes to him, to the point of never refusing him anything.
▹ Younger Seme (Haekyum): His admiration for his hyung may seem innocent at first but it only takes 2 chps to realize how unhinged he is about Jihyun. His obsession runs deeps and there's nothing he won't do if it means being with his 'hubby' Jihyun, even if it hurts him.
▸ Older Uke (Jihyun): Jihyun's love for his younger brother is his undoing in every lifetime & since he sees him in Haekyum, he ignores his own boundaries just to keep the boy happy.
▹ Younger Seme: Yeowun might be a big star at 22 but at heart he's still a fan of Seok-wu, the hyung that supported him back when he was a young trainee. He never got over him, to the point of taking a career break to follow Seok-wu at uni (+ lwk stalks him) & have a chance to reconnect.

▸ Older Uke: Idris may be the strongest & most feared man in the empire, but he's still at his weakest when it comes to Ziegren. This sense of protectiveness is used against him as leverage during the whole story.
▹ Younger Seme: Yoo-in seems to have grown from a cute kid into a charming young man, but inside he's still the same: a controlling sadist, a side only his big brother gets to see. His hyung hasn't changed much either: still naive enough to blindly trust him.
▸ Older Uke: Seonghyuk was always branded as creepy & cast aside for it. In truth, he was a kind & love-starved kid but only Yoo-in saw it & used it to own him. Even now, his trusting nature is his biggest weakness against his brother.
▹ Younger Seme (Rion): Growing up, Rion only knew happiness when Kangtae was by his side - and now, he only lives to find him. Rion doesn't take a normal route to do so however, ruining lives & lying to keep Kangtae close.
▸ Older Uke (Kangtae): Even if his mind doesn't remember Rion, Kangtae's heart & body still do. When they meet, he immediately wants to care for Rion & make him truly live. He's also more considerate of Rion's feelings than his own, preferring to be in pain than see Rion cry.
