ML treats MC like a doormat for a good chunk only to be hit by the truth and regret. Good redemption arc for the ML, I felt so bad for him that he makes me cry. He became so aware of not trying to hurt MC that I admire his self control and patience.

Oh my god I would only reread the 2nd couple's story. It broke me so badly. 10/10 just for that part. S1 is good, didn't pay attention to S3 because S2 is that good and angsty.
Reading this made me sad about MC's situation and ML slowly changing falling in love but not wanting to hurt MC like he did before. Love the angst.
Made me cry, both MC and ML are broken but slowly healing healing together.
Oh my god it was such a good read. I felt so bad for the MC.
