Oh hell ye. Omega is a yakuza boss that really is a fkkn BOSS. Alpha is hiding his identity while dedicating his entire being to serving his omega. I prefer this omega-alpha dynamic, where the omega has been pretty much trained to take out any alpha that dares covet him, as they are not /his/ alpha. And said alpha loves him so much that he will go against his own instincts.
Awwwwh I really liked this one! Uke and seme are coworkers who became each other's besties. Uke becomes aware of his feelings first and actively tries to make sure no woman ends up hooking seme. It all seems for naught when a boss tries to set up a blind date for seme. But instead, it becomes the catalyst for seme to finally realize his feelings and chase after uke in a literal and metaphorical sense. They are so dumb, it melts my heart.
This isn't actually done but I know for a fact that I love this manga. Uke is deaf and navigates the world with sincerity. Seme is a violinist that hears too much of the world and, thus, approaches it fiercely. What I really liked about this piece is that, since a vital component of usual communication is missing, uke and seme learn to get their thoughts and feelings across more deeply.
Frrrrrrrick, I wish this was longer. Uke goes back in time before tragedy befalls seme, thus changing their entwined fates into that of hope rather than loss. I love how author-nim portrayed the different timelines of seme falling in love with another before uke goes back in time. It makes you think that uke and seme don't really belong together, but that's just it--they weren't born soulmates, they became soulmates.
Pfft, yes, the true king of dicks in the yaoi world. Somehow, author-nim doesn't make it as scary as it could be, since this fantastical world makes it possible to fit a pickle jar up the uke's anus without utterly destroying his body. Plus, seme is such a stellar guy, doing what he can to make it as pleasurable as possible for uke. This also deals with the issue of how, technically, seme effectively kidnaps uke by forcibly transmigrating him.
Seme and uke's relationship was so satisfying to see evolve. This is my fave porn actor couple, it was just great. Uke starts out straight but then sees the light through seme's technique and delightfully warm dick, apparently. It was funny seeing them light up each other's competitive spirit. Chp 4-5 is, unfortunately, another couple but I actually wish there were a complete 5+ chapters of each couple gdi.
Actually surprised by how much I liked this. Not really the manhwa, because they butchered the fkkn novel again. The novel does a great job in describing gong and su’s broken relationship, their individual broken mentality, and why their feelings for one another still survive–along with making a believable course to forgiveness and mending their relationship. Other than low tide, this is only other genuinely toxic relationship where I root for them, both apart and together.
I am really surprised I ended up liking this, considering how this started off very much rape...and all the fkkn rape, man. But, for one, this is ABO. Another, su actually gets really good punches into gong, who takes those punches without ever once retaliating. Gong also treats su's kid brother very well, which is honestly the most important thing. Then the way gong regrets without using pity to gain su's forgiveness great. And gong is just unhinged, period, so he makes me laugh.
As a well-written and light-hearted shounen ai that has kept my attention (as a manhua, no less), this one holds a special memory for me. 0 is a sweetheart who has a more range of emotion than his facial muscles allow. 1 is a sly dream demon who takes advantage of 0's naivety, not knowing how much of a sweetheart that 0 will become to him. Read this for reprieve from all the toxicity.
