Same artist as the one for the manga right before this one! This is so great, this and the prior manga are honestly tied. It's a regression theme. 1 is the one who confesses his feelings, then an accident lands 0 back in high school right before meeting 1. Now it's 0's turn to fall hard for 1, just like in the first life, while also figuring out exactly how he feels for 1--unlike in his past life. Second chances have never tasted so sweet.
Actually, the main reason why I ended up loving this because it was the first manhwa I read--after a long string of rapey ones--that had no rape from either gong or 2nd gong. Su's life was already plenty stressful and tragic without that and author-nim understood it well. Plus, I loved how gong--as untouchable as he looks--was immediately taken in by su's siren powers but never abused su for it. His response was not to make su his, but to make su want to be his.
This one is sequel to the first installment and this one ended up being the true winner. I would've rated this higher if this had a better portrayal as to why uke was super hesitant to being together with seme. Cuz, honestly, uke cannot have been the only one facing the same crisis as portrayed in this manga. Instead, we just get the whole "oh, it's all because of uke's weak personality" which is a total copout. Either way, I still very much enjoyed this read.
Omg, seme is so ridiculous and he made uke just as ridiculous as him. Seriously, you have balls and clit of steel if you can fkk no problem while a zombie is right there. Still, this was a fun read and I really enjoyed seeing how deeply entrenched uke and seme become in each other's lives. Actually, that was the best part. And it is surprising that, between the sex and romance, there was some engaging plot here.
HELL YE. The storyline is mid witha pair of childhood friends who pine over each other like it's an olympic sport. I mean, they are teens, so I get it, and uke is especially insecure. Either way, I absolutely love that we get really good female representation, A LESBIAN COUPLE, and uke + seme kissing on stage in front of their classmates, like right outta a hs fairytale. The pose uke and seme take while having their first very public first kiss is so cute.
This one has all the classics of a stereotypical yaoi story but without the rape, which gives this oldie but goodie status. Uke has a feminine name, girls + straight homophobics don't have faces, seme has an aspect that only uke can accept + understand, and uke having a dick becomes a surprise attack during an unrealistic point of their connection. With all the good and bad parts, I'd read this over and over again.
Kickass (quite literally) one of a kind omegaverse. Uke is a prisoner who likes beating up entitled alphas and going for their teeth. Seme is the poor prison guard who has to look after uke's unhinged ass. Then becomes just as unhinged as him, which cracks me up.
Okay, so...lots of rape and abuse of uke by seme...but I just really can't help but love the premise of a human being treated as a god, along with the ramifications of it. I even made a one-page narrative based off this manga, that's how much I'm into the whole aspects of immortality and its subsets. Anyways, I do find it beautiful how uke teaches seme how he wants to be loved and seme is grateful for such lessons, as he could never figure out how to change on his own.
Another one of this author's (same as manga right before this one) that I can't help but be drawn to. It's a great ABO verse premise. Seme is the twin brother of uke's ex, who ended up acting upon instinct forced upon him from his alpha side once meeting his fated omega--who happens to be uke's childhood friend. So. Double whammy. Enter seme, who tells fate to screw itself so he can screw uke forever. It's both really sad and really heartwarming.
Wtf no teens should not be reading this manga *wheeze*. Anyways, uke and seme met in hs, when hormones and family drama lead them to making poor choices. Afterwards, seme spent years wanting to make things right while uke spent years stewing in his heartbreak. Uke's influence made seme into a better person while seme's influence made uke into a worse one. But together, you see the seme finally feeling whole in his life while the uke can finally stop letting angst define him.
