Fifty-One Shades of Manga Yaoi

This was unexpectedly fun. It feels lacking though because this is the type of story that should have more chapters to feel satisfying. Either way, I love the trope. Uke and seme had a brief tryst in high school, leading to uke running away thinking that seme can never be his. They meet later, seme now a successful baseball player and uke a salaryman who is def seme's no 1 fan.

Talk about roundabout fate. Seme confesses his love to uke when they were younger. This was when uke was graduating and seme was starting HS. Years later, uke ends up dating seme's fuckbuddy, then somehow ends up going to the same AV company that seme works at, and of course, seme is still super duper in love with his first love...obvs uke. It's a little convoluted, but fun.

Lol this was good. Uke is a outwardly awkward but inwardly charming and adorable. Seme, who gets into fights with uke a lot during work, only recognizes this because he has the power to perform outer-body experiences. When he uses that to mess with uke, what he finds is that--ta dah--uke is his one true love!

Oh come on, this is a classic with an actual live-action adaptation. I don't even think a summary is needed. Just know uke is able to hear others' thoughts and is in for the surprise of his life when seme, popular and handsome as he is, is filled with longing thoughts for him.

Waaahhhh...I got bored and I switched to another manga but I can't let this one go because we have men at normal ages just flirting normally with each other and damn it. That is true gayness ok.

This one is a spin-off from another series but I actually like this sequel the best. Uke is a college kid possessed by a wolf spirit and seme is the cold-looking but actually warm-hearted classmate that finds out and looks after him. Their relationship evolves beautifully and with just enough clichés to make this couple click even further.

This is the one-shot sequel to the Manga above. It's a super cute one where seme gets jealous of uke's long-term friendships because he wants to be the one who knows uke best. He doesn't hurt uke or anything near it, just shows enough sulkiness to make uke feel special.

This was really cute. Author's other works are also similarly well done. Both uke and seme are manly, with uke in particularly being literally sharp-teethed. It's fitting that uke has a biting fetish while seme has a smelling fetish. For each other only, ofc.

Aw this was sweet. Uke is annoyingly slutty and by that, I mean he has no concept of time or place and pulls semes into all types of embarrassing situations. But then you find out this is how he was taught to be by all his exes and he has no other way of showing how much he likes seme. A form of a tsundere, I suppose. It's cute.

Author's other works are similarly cute! This was one has an interesting premise--uke can see balloons over ppl's head that signifies how they feel about uke personally. Seme has the biggest, shiniest of all and uke can't help but be enamored by who seme truly is under all the rumors. One thing I really don't like about this was how lightheartedly they portrayed suicidal ideation. It was almost enough for me not to add this work.
