I really liked how they were all "it doesn't matter if you're an omega, I love you because you're you" buuuut...they tried too hard in this one and the message pretty much fell flat. This would've been more impact if one of them was a beta, or both omega, or both alpha. There were also other issues I had with this manga (the way seme's trauma was treated was disgusting), but either way, this was still a nice read.
This was a fun childhood friends to lovers trope. It wasn't super satisfying because I felt that the get-together didn't really...equal the pain uke had to face with his unrequited feelings. But seme has no thoughts and really did put his time with uke first, suggesting he just wasn't aware enough of his feelings. Author's other works are good as well.
This author's other works are good as well but this one I enjoy the most. Uke has been protected his entire life by a shinigami that has been captivated by him then fallen in love with him. Seriously wish there were more chapters, this is the type of plot that really needs more chapters.
This is a spin-off to another work of author-nim's, which is also good. I just like this one more because it provides more backstory to the special, immortal, succubi/incubi-like powers of the ukes in both stories. Also, I just like the progression of playboy seme into devoted seme. But remember folks, marriage is a convo for two, not an executive decision lol.
"He's the kind of guy that needs a blowjob to be reassured of my love for him." I'm. Sure, yes. That's how it works. *wheeze* (also think seme was calling uke a dead lay but w/e). Uke is a horse beast man--felt like author-san missed a golden comedic opportunity there--and seme starts out as his rider. Which, of course, ends in being uke's lover! This was fun to read.
"You felt loved by me." The fact that THIS was what made seme most relieved and ready to forgiving uke for running away. That got me so bad. Uke here is so annoying cuz he vacillates between "I don't need romance" to "I'm the scum of the barrel" but that's exactly why seme loves him. Because he sees the potential in uke's happiness and wants that for uke, who absolutely deserves the love seme gives him--SO IF HE COULD JUST STOP RUNNING AWAY.
This is sooooo cute~~ the sequel to this in author's works is also super adorable. I love that Ritsu, as an adopted child, is so loved by his pops (who can, although, be sneaky and underhanded lol) and new uke dad! The way that they both shamelessly love Ritsu as much as they love each other. This is a heartwarming one.
This one is actually a sequel to author’s other work. Her other works are good too. I chose this one tho. An all-encompassing relationship is great in fiction, but in reality, a couple that holds each other in highest regard while also kind to other ppl is just how humanity should be.
“Whipping is a caress. Bondage is an embrace. That’s right, S&M is an act of love.” Honestly, I’m putting that here just for this lol. I’m not sure whether I’m into that in real life, but the people who are deserve to be respected–not shamed–for their kinks.
This is the only type of dumb uke I like. He can be...too dumb sometimes, but still, he's all "oh yeah, I'm ugly...well, I'll just work on making myself less ugly!" or "well, I'm not really a good fit for my seme...but that's okay, I'll keep working at it because my seme deserves the best of me!" It's no wonder the seme adores him more than I do. Tho, seme is low-key manipulative and it's to a point where I worry for uke's future.
