Sixty-Nine Shades of Manhwa BL

ABO with a dickshit alpha and an omega that takes doormat to toiletrug heights. Still a fun read. Separate side stories had a really fun amnesia trope.

Tbh I ended up not enjoying this one because su approaches gong with shady motives and even after starting a serious relationship with gong, continues to lie to him. And when gong gives him a chance to stop lying, su fkkn blows it. This was really good up til that point; I was bitterly disappointed. I just read this for the side stories now.

This was a good ABO story where two alphas end up together. Su doesn't really act like an alpha though, he just has a very good poker face. As he defines his relationship with gong more, he finds reasons to act more decisively. Other than that, there are sweet moments between them involving paintings and the side stories really brought the main story together.

Really good ABO with an adorable baby in the later chapters. Lots of side stories to enjoy. Su is this sweet yet passive ice skater who is happy to be of use to gong's pheromone aversion. Swimmer gong is left aloof and detached from prior pheromone trauma, who of course becomes devoted to the su who heals his wounds.

Omg this story. Su is in love with gong and is happy to be victim to gong's freaking split personalities. Which, hilariously, was made by gong realizing how much he, too, is in love with su...to be fair, su is 6 years younger and gong has a violent streak that he knows is scary to su. Side stories are great, even with the side couple. Art keeps improving in later chapter. Artist provides great smut scenes.

Same artist as manga just before this one! Unfortunately has lots of rape scenes between gong and su...probably a nod towards the problematic "drop the soap" homophobia. But hey, still had fun reading this one. I felt bad for 2nd gong. Smut scenes were great. This did have a bit of underlying plot, which was a pleasant surprise.

When you see the name HASUNARI printed on the story, you CLICK, girl. Click it GOOD. This one was a little lacking tho because I feel like there could have been better explanations for parts of the plot, but perhaps it was explained better in the novel. Either way, totally enjoyed reading this with the action scenes, unique plot, possessive + powerful gong, and sniper su.

Since I already added one of them, I decided I might as well add the rest of Harusari's work. This one is a more noir-like take on omegaverse. Omega and alpha are both treated with respect, with more advanced talents than the regulars. Su is a talented hacker with a sad past and gong is a scary as hell powerful businessman that goes all out in correcting who/what made his su sad. For a nice twist, the su is the one to threaten the gong into sleeping with him.

This is incomplete but it's by Harusari, so you know the ending will be good or at the very least, satisfying. This is a historical, fantasy setting. Gong is a knight that everyone has to take seriously despite coming from a poor background. Su is a fallen royal caught in political intrigue with his memory used as sort of collateral. The mystery here is rather frustrating (why won't gong get su out of that damn hell hole), but I hope all the loose ends will be tied.

I think this is the only manhwa BL with over 150 chapters AND consistent entertaining writing. The plot is moderate with holes and drama that can be a little over the top. But no assault and the extra chapters just added to the story's overall charm without making it "dragging". Gong has a condition where he's always cold but Su has the ability to give him warmth. How else would this end but both keep each other warm forever and ever.
