When you see the name HASUNARI printed on the story, you CLICK, girl. Click it GOOD. This one was a little lacking tho because I feel like there could have been better explanations for parts of the plot, but perhaps it was explained better in the novel. Either way, totally enjoyed reading this with the action scenes, unique plot, possessive + powerful gong, and sniper su.
Since I already added one of them, I decided I might as well add the rest of Harusari's work. This one is a more noir-like take on omegaverse. Omega and alpha are both treated with respect, with more advanced talents than the regulars. Su is a talented hacker with a sad past and gong is a scary as hell powerful businessman that goes all out in correcting who/what made his su sad. For a nice twist, the su is the one to threaten the gong into sleeping with him.
This is incomplete but it's by Harusari, so you know the ending will be good or at the very least, satisfying. This is a historical, fantasy setting. Gong is a knight that everyone has to take seriously despite coming from a poor background. Su is a fallen royal caught in political intrigue with his memory used as sort of collateral. The mystery here is rather frustrating (why won't gong get su out of that damn hell hole), but I hope all the loose ends will be tied.
This was a really good, action packed read with twists on the plot. Due to reasons, su hides the fact that he’s an S-class guide. Which is fitting, since he ends up joining a guild with members hiding the fact that they’re S-class espers. It’s fun to see the gong gradually descend into posessive levels for his su.
I think this is the only manhwa BL with over 150 chapters AND consistent entertaining writing. The plot is moderate with holes and drama that can be a little over the top. But no assault and the extra chapters just added to the story's overall charm without making it "dragging". Gong has a condition where he's always cold but Su has the ability to give him warmth. How else would this end but both keep each other warm forever and ever.
I think a lot of readers find this couple (namely the su) annoying, but not me. What I find annoying is that manhwa companies keep butchering their novels. Cuz gdi, this is a good light sci-fi one with some smart-sounding jargon (mainly legal) and that’s what makes this fun. But still, I had a riot with these two idiots. Wish we could’ve seen more of gong doting on su.
ABO verse where gong is a model, but takes up his old job as a call boy when his coworker begs him to. Turns out that pink-haired cutie su is absolutely his type. The expressions especially on gong’s face during the smut is wonderful btw, I haven’t seen such intense expressions in other manhwa (save for Red Thread) and I wish there was.
Spin-off to series directly after this one. I liked this couple and the story better than the first one actually. They're more compelling in that they have complicated ties that, both, made then broke their first connection. In the end, they learn how to remake their connection with more openness and honesty. There's better pacing in this one...at least, so far, but I actually read the novel for this, so we'll see how the manhwa does.
This is a good and respectable ABO. Seriously, there is mentions of assault, but it's really due to the aspect of being in an ABO world where pheromones can drive ppl crazy. Probably the only thing I'd complain of is how these two get together after a crapton of push back from both sides...it just seems a little unexpected, like the manhwa missed a few chapters from the novel.
This is a good one–not sure if it followed the novel faithfully but I don’t think so because the ending, once again, feels rushed. Which sucks because, seriously, this is isekai with masochistic su transmigrating into his fave BDSM novel. Gong starts off as pretty much a…regular psychopath, later molded into su’s ideal sadist. Would’ve liked this a lot more if they just…y’know…wrote this with the same quality beginning to end.
