A great story, but sometimes hard to feel like taeui is enjoying anything ever. Definitely worth re-reading and definitely one of the best to read in a sea of bland bl.

I much prefer raga over the main story because I love gable and I think he’s one of the best written mcs I’ve read as of late. I really love his kind, demure nature. Xinlu is hard to like, but gable makes you feel like he’s likable. Such a beautifully written story.

Every complaint I’ve seen abt this manhwa has been about the “what plot?” Concept but I personally loved this story. It’s a typical setting/plot driver but I think it’s very well executed. The characters are very lovable and it’s very genuine/not rapey or weird. The dynamic is really refreshing and well done.

The ratings aren’t perfect, but this is still my favorite. The plot is typical but written in a way where you still feel very immersed. Their history in childhood is gripping, you literally hold your breath. There’s sooo much great tension shown through art and interactions. Their communication is subpar, but angst wouldn’t be good without bad communication. This is my first recommendation to anyone.

This one is tricky. I think the mc/ml contrast is so refreshing. But their communication and issues with one another are frustrating to a point where it isn’t even justifiable to be so dramatic. Idk why I liked this so much but I did. I really think ml is so likable and their dependency feels uncomfortable but you can’t stop reading it. Not a big recommendation unless you’re a masc/buff/mature bottom truther

Literally none of this makes sense. Nothing that happens makes sense and nothing that leads to one thing or another makes sense. I actually don’t know how I got through this. It’s genuinely so terribly written and so cringe. The fact that it’s viral on tiktok just proves to me how unreliable it is with recommendations.

I liked it. I thought it was a good execution of obsession and manipulation. I like that it isn’t about getting raped and imprisoned, but I have a bad feeling of it getting there. Mc is likable, and I like how crazy and angry he gets. I don’t hate this honestly I think it’s a great execution for a manipulation plot. Foreshadowing was kinda decent but messy.
Everything was a 10/10. I absolutely loved every second of this. The political subplot was expertly paced and thought out. The romance is a bit slow and awkward at first but I’m sure the payoff will be worth it. I love this story and I’m so sad I hadn’t known of it sooner. Don’t judge a book by its cover.
I didn’t like this. I had to force myself to finish it. It had good potential in the beginning but I just snoooozeddddduuhhhg. I genuinely am irritated that the reviews r so high.
This was good!
could have used a little more drama but mc/ml were great and fleshed out. Art was pretty :3
