what a sick, twisted, apropos, psychologically fucked up world. If you are assigned a role, do you lose yourself and become that role? Does the new role bring out different hidden parts of you? And can you not be a sheep who becomes every role assigned , as stay yourself? I love the manga.
this hits you hard, where it hurts. And shows you the difference abuse can make. turn you into a flight risk or turn you into a fight risk. Our sanity, it's so delicate isn't it
very unique, very harada like. Such psychological twist and turns. Being borderline psychotic and sociopathic, and openly finally understanding what you are and why.
This is one mind f*ck you just don't expect when you start reading it. I wonder, who started it?
Humans. Do.This. We just don't like to admit it. But how often does the abused become an abuser., or people say "he must have been tortured as a child". The hell we grow in or experience, most will inflict on others in one way or another. It's wrong, and some break this cycle, but it IS a cycle. But- for your sins to be known, your ugliness to be seen, to hurt the person you love, and still be accepted and loved? That, we humans rarely do.
Amazing story
I really liked this story. I was surprised at how well the author pulled off their emotions, as well as the good and bad parts of each others' personalities. It may not seem very psychological, only twisted, but there are little hints that show just how much their minds, not their bodies, led them to where they ended.
One who never wanted anything before, wanted something.
One who was never wanted before, wanted nothing.
A soul string that will attach itself to you before you even realize it. maybe one of top 10 mangas of all time. To try to explain, I would disgrace it. Because the true ugliness that exists in our world, absolutely overflowing with so many emotions yet not an ounce of romance, sexy to the point of losing yourself, and real to the point of losing a piece of your mind because you will never forget you read this manga...can't be explained.
And I don't write reviews like this...almost ever.
In the words of Aizen, the betrayals you can see are meaningless. It's the ones you don't see coming that are the scariest. Ina way it sums up this interesting manga about a boy who feels like he is being betrayed by his uncle.
A oneshot but a one shot that has a simplicity about it that's sexy.
