Trying to survive the zombie apocalypse with his boyfriend and friends, only for them to betray him and attempt to use him for food. Luckily, he is saved, but is his saviour normal?
Early on can be a bit confusing as they give you information in a unconventional way but if you push through it gets very easy to understand and extremely cute. The horror comes from the zombies but mostly from humans themselves as they act very desperately and disgustingly when faced with no consequences.
MC reincarnates into a rich heiress but faced with the knowledge of the approaching apocalypse she prepares herself, buying weapons and preparing a mansion away from society. But when it starts much earlier than anticipated she gets stuck with the male leads, and where is the female lead?!
This one is also not as horrifying, although it does still contain zombies and humans being inhumane. The bickering between her and the different characters is definitely the highlight.
Yi-Jae reincarnates into a nobel girl that throws herself into a river right before her marriage to the crown prince. Having been a shaman in her previous life, she sees the ghosts surrounding the prince and decides to help.
One of my favorites ever. It is not as heavy in atmosphere compared to others but it does talk about heavy themes, especially the dissonance between her previous life and never feeling at home in the new world, which I really enjoyed.
MC his a ghost writer in the slums, just trying to make a leaving. But just as weird notes start appearing at his door a young man shows up, cutting onions in his doorway. He tries to avoid him, thinking his suspicious, but ends up accepting to eat dinner with him, only to find a body hidded in his house.
Very nice victorian setting with a more realistic horror. I enjoyed slowly discovering the history between the characters and learning more about them.
After playing a otome game she gets reincarnated into Penelope, the protagonist of the hard mode considered a villainess by all. This follows her attempts to survive and return to her world, but why does the system keep screwing her over?!
A classic, not really a horror but it is adjecent enough that I feel it deserves a spot here, especially in recent chapters. It talks about especially abuse, and has a very interesting depections of it making you truly wish you were able to help her.
MC, who can see ghost, reincarnates into a girl that can also see them. She has to pretend she can’t see them, or execution would be her fate. But after helping her possessed sibling, she decides to save the crown prince to make him too attached to kill her! Now she just needs the ghosts help…
I wouldn’t recommend reading right now as the translation is confusing. I will update this if it ever gets better but the story is very interesting, depicting both nice and evil ghosts.
MC is a girl adored by women, which would be great if she were gay. But she isn’t doing too good with men either as she is terrified by them. Suddenly she is approached by a very pretty girl who has a crush on her, but why is she acting so weird.
The least horror on this list, but it scarred me so bad I put it here. This is not a GL, as the “girl” is a actually a obsessive, yandere boy (NOT ML).
