Damn. Author and artist both really put their all into this. The way Yoonsung yearned for Hakyung was heartwrenching.
Absolutely adored the panel compositions, the artwork, the characterisation and depth. Everyone felt like real people with their own motive and drive, though ofc our two mcs were the center of it all.
This story could have easily ended in tragedy. Maybe Yoonsung would have never met Hakyung again. Once a pair of lovers, and now simply strangers.
I love our psycho wooseok (ml). He's unashamedly mentally-ill and doesnt care. His feelings for in-seob take a while to form, but once it has taken root within him wooseok is unable to even function without in-seob.
The most satisfying scene was when wooseok was unable to calm down, wreaking havoc in the hospital and needing to be sedated after in-seob had been stabbed and on the verge of death.
A shame the artist didnt draw all the volumes of the novel.
A gusari classic.
Heartbreak isnt enough to describe this story. Because Englands lover is still alive. Just not the person he knew for all those years, but undoubtedly France loves him and would continue to love him the same no matter how many times he is killed.
When France's ghost finally spoke to England it was obvious that would be the end of his role. He was there to help continue the relationship between England and France : in which he succeeded.
The one manga i can count on to make me cry like a little bitch. No one was at fault, no one was a villain, there was nothing but life itself that tore these two apart. I hope they can meet in their next lives, and love eo unafraid with no restrictions.
