Manly couple with an unexpected uke. This may be the reason why this isn't so highly rated but for some reason, I really like the stoic uke and playboy seme dynamic between the two.
This is about a naive and innocent English nobleman who meets a cheeky Japanese professional gardener. Very funny and lighthearted read!
An Amish guy is doing his coming-of-age ceremony called Rumspringa where he gets to interact with the outside world. There he meets a guy who dreams of becoming a ballet dancer but is now down and out and prostituting himself.
Although it's rated highly, only a few people have read it. Thus, it's going in this list.
A highschool couple where one is super pessimistic and the other is bubbly and optimistic.
SO PRECIOUS! I want them to have a sequel. T.T
This is a manga about two teachers. One teacher is pretty manipulative so the manga is Psychological w/c contributes to it not being that popular. But it does get better.
I like the dynamic between the funny lazy teacher and the attractive manipulative teacher. Pls give it a read!
Abt a sports announcer who had a one night stand w/ a famous playboy baseball player.
The reason this is rated relatively low may be because the seme is a dick. BUT, I still quite like it.
A story about a guy in an unrequited love w/ the owner of a pub who has a long-time gf he works part-time in during summer. Right when he was about to give up, owner is alone w/o gf.
Sweet slice of life and no twists or anything. Just love.
One Yakuza leader has to sell his body to another Yakuza leader after a member of his group made trouble for the other's group because the member wants to bang him.
This is rated so low because of the attempted rape and the non-addressing of it in story. But to me, I mean they're yakuza. As long as they're not glorifying it or it's not gratuitous, I can ignore it in fiction.
Three different love stories of a bunch of salarymen. I have no idea why this is rated so low, but my favorite would be the long-distance couple!
Criminally underrated.
Maybe it isn't popular because it doesn't have any of the cliché tropes. Or because of its slower pacing, but to me it's perfect.
Rarely do you ever find characters who are mature like them.
