Shōnen is a demographic centred towards young boys, it is not a genre mainly contains actions. It also shows brotherhood, coming of age, and slice of life kinda genre/vibe into it. A misconception people had towards Shōnen is that it must have actions when some greatest Shōnen of all time are not even action or fight heavy.
