I love this found family trope. I don’t even know if it’s platonic or romantic, but either way, it’s still love. Sexuality is fluid, people are complicated, and the world is constantly shifting, but I LOVE this dynamic so much.

Finding comfort in each other, trying to save one another not because they have to, but because they genuinely want to. There’s something so soft and human about two people choosing each other in a world that keeps pulling them apart.
