angst - 7/10 mainly because of how jaehan feels like he has an unrequited love for heegyeom and is willing to do whatever heegyeom wants as long as he can be with him, despite the prideful personality he has

-first half had me BAWLING ... her family is manipulative/abusive, her brother is so disgustingly controlling over her, and in an unfamiliar place everyone was suspicious and unkind to her. she had NO ONE on her side
angst - 8/10 first half but there's really not much after ml and fl get closer and build that bond
-both fl and ml are victims, ml idolised fl as a saint and saviour but that shatters and ml realises fl is an ignorant and sheltered noble. that doesn't make anything that he did to her was right, she still deserved respect and autonomy over her life and everything he did was out of resentment to her for not being the person he wanted her to be
angst - 10/10 i hurt for fl so much
-i read the novel, it is already pretty angsty knowing that the person she loves wants to kill her and her having to handle both guilt and love for ml
-(SPOILERS) the second half where she is about to be executed is where it gets extremely angsty and i love how ml realises he needs to let fl go because thats what she truly needs and that when she goes back to him its what she wants and chooses for herself
-don't like the cliche 'ml gets hurt so fl forgives him'
angst - 9/10
-i read the novel, don't know if the manhwa will have the same impact but i cried so hard for paula. the ml slowly starting to recognise paula made me feel so emotional as well
-the confession scene was so touching

-the scene where sekye thinks selfharm would keep yijun with him only to be rejected because yijun felt a resemblance between him and his (yijun's) parents was one of the hardest parts of the story to go through
angst - 7/10 i was hurting for yijun so much, the guilt he feels because his parents blame him for something that wasnt his fault, him realising he was a substitute for someone he loved ... he deserves the happiness he got in the side stories
- the way both yang ilwoo and baekhee give each other the love they deserve is so sweet and heatbreaking because they both deserve so much better than what they have
- yang ilwoo's perspective in s2 killed me his love for baekhee is so beautiful and precious, im so glad he found a reason to live
angst - 10/10 TW suicide/ideation, child abuse, DV, rape/dubcon
