Even though it’s a classic in the psycho horror genre, I think it’s still a good idea to mention it here. Monster tells the story of fighting evil(which is a common trope) but the story itself is a unique masterpiece.

Ok, I know this has a lower rating, but from the psychological point of view, it’ REALLY interesting. It shows us how far a human can go and abandon his morals in order to survive. Might not be one’s first choice, but give it a shot, you won’t regret it.

In a world where monster attacks are anything but rare, humans work along with gods to fight them, summoning the sacred beeings trough dance rituals.
The art is amazing, but the plot can sometimes be harder to grasp and the characters lack depth. Will re-review later on.
