Not for beginners
A non-conventional female lead as she isn't strong or smart, and clearly displays behaviour from someone who has been abused and neglected their whole life.
First part of the story is just her suffering and the buildup to her running away.
Second half is ML finally understanding.
Ending could've been better.

5/10 - Would probably rate lower but it also feels wrong to?

The ML was pretty terrible to the FL in this one. She's a noble and he's a child soldier, where he one-sidedly fell for her while he was in a really bad place and when they got married, he pushed the blame of his suffering from her father onto her, wanting to drag her down with him.

I remember liking this/10

The ML was a green flag and MC was smart, I don't remember having any complaints.
