after being in a deep deep phase of reincarnation/villainess manga, this was a breath of fresh air. While i love this genre, once you get through enough of them- it does get a bit repetitive and a bit predictable. which is fine at first but after youre REALLY deep in it, its all like woah so could we switch things up a bit. I feel like thats what this one did. all while staying true to the parts of this genre that make it so good. super excited to see where it continues to go.
SOOO damn long. but so damn worth it. Really enjoyed it despite there being a few slow/hard to continue on moments. Definitely deserves it's ratings/reputation. feel like this is a must read classic if youre into manga. Even if its not ur thing, i just feel like everyone should read it. the plot felt the most like a traditional book to me than any other manga I've read. which is a compliment mind you. anyways yeah really loved this
RAHHHHHH this probably is my favorite manga of all time. first psychological manga i read that made me realize how good psychological mangas can be. Think it can be really hard to make a reader scared reading but it managed to genuinely unsettle me. and omfg the art was SOOOO amazing. loved how they drew things based off the emotions of the characters. yesyesyes so so good. 10/10
lowkey my first yandere manga. Actually really enjoyed it and was so locked in. I liked that the characters actually had character growth and changed. super interesting and unexpected plusss it made me root for them more. ALTHOUGH i would have preferred them to lean into the psychological/horror aspect a little more but for what it was i really liked it.
mangas not finished butttt lovinggg it. Really like that shes chasing him and that both of them seem to have a lot of character development. the art style is super yummy. Feel like im getting the best of both worlds getting gross horror and also rooting for the couple. wish i knew more mangas/webtoons with a similar balance of those qualities.
