Good but Not Quite Top Tier

Interesting concept, psychological, and quite a deep character study/analysis.

This category might change but it's dragging a little for me and I'm interested to se how it wraps up.

This starts off in the top tier but recently has felt a bit meandering with the current arc, I think I need to wait and see where it ends up, since it feels a bit like it lacks focus currently, trying to go the To Be Hero X route re: pitting S-Classes etc. against each other.

The MC is whiny and frustrating, very 'I love him so I'll put up with the BDSM even though I don't really enjoy it' and gives 'I can change him' vibes. As a result, all the BDSM tends to come across as "rapey" vs. it being an MC who simply won't accept that the ML has different interests in the bedroom to him. I've had moments with this where I've really liked it, but for the most part, the MC needs a good hard shake and a wake up call, everything bad that happens to him is something he chooses.
