two real characters who have real conflicts. they try with varying success throughout the story to learn how to understand & love each other better, beautiful little love story
very enjoyable to read for the first half. gives you immensely fluffy feelings
most underrated OI
it doesn't do a single thing new but executes every trope to maximal perfection. truly the perfect romantasy. thank you gawd for tsundere MLs
cute character dynamics and refreshing cast, with fairly little romance so far—which i actually like!
similar in themes and plot to my beautiful oppressor but with time regression. i enjoyed seeing it play out around real world history (world war 1 then 2). ties together very nicely around the end. i wish more was done with isabel's character, that something actually came out of everything she fought so hard for.
starts to lose steam near the end with some over-the-top character writing, but it treats the theme of knowing when you will die rather seriously and plays around the impacts of that very well
fun eldritch horror otome isekai with beautiful art! i thought it would just be just comedy horror, but it starts delving into some deeper themes later on.
ML is quite interesting! i like how he talks about pedestalizing the MC and expecting her to be his salvation when she's actually mostly Just A Girl
falls flat at the end but i really love the intense tension between MC and her sister, and how different their two characters are. kanna feels to me like if rashta from remarried empress was more consistently written, and more cutthroat. lynette's relationships with the crown prince and the actual ML are also layered, and the conversation around whether or not her lifelong pursuit of vengeance actually benefits her or not is well done.
i love tsundere MCs!
