9.3+ OP/cool main characters

i am over 200 chapters far in the novel, and it’s my ALL TIME FAVORITE. im genuinely so excited. office worker reads these “creepy pastas” as a pastime, even though he’s a coward, but he justifies it with how he’s reading it so it’s not the same as experiencing it. he goes to a pop-up store, wins this spin-the-wheel prize and gets “dropped into a ghost story”. soleum, i’m sorry…

plot-heavy. there’s romance, but it’s only at a stage where a crush is developing but nothing further yet (really cute btw). mc is one of those who solves everyone’s problems and always figures out what’s wrong. liked it a lot more than i thought i would bc i thought the first few chapters were okay but now i wait every week for a chapter.

people act like this is a love triangle, but the male lead is pretty straightforward (comparing screentime, it's obviously na yuhan). has a unique premise, and it's somewhat rare to have a female mc in these power creep academy settings, but i can't help feel a little disappointed w/the direction it is heading in. feels like a potential reverse harem w/weak world building. action is a bit lackluster, but very fun to read novel reader's comments in her world.

entirely new concept of a game world with safe zones and attacking other players. every time i kind of understand something, there’s more and more questions. all the safe zone players are 10 years old, and i’m not usually a fan of reading child protagonists, but they do this really well.

i just did not really like this. i hesitated even putting it on this list. the mc is just there. maybe it’s intended to be a lighthearted read, but i can’t get past the heavy implication that the (spoilers) eldest of his five adopted kids likes him and he makes no attempts to correct it?? i initially brushed it off as obsession but then the comments only confirmed it more for me.

i used to ignore this bc who cares abt farming. me. i care abt farming. very adorable read, and his singular shirt is prob disgusting. every chapter is abt farming, like im serious. new seeds, new plot of land, new crop quality, its ENDLESS. my only thing is, why would they make the dragon have a crush on him :( its basically nonexistent as of now but would have loved a best friend type of friendship :((((
