It's PWP that tried to have a storyline, but it ended up half-assed and gross. First chapter in, Blake sexually assaults Asha because of some "unknown urge." Like... You're telling me non-con is their first interaction? Wow, so deep, and so beautiful.

The only good thing it has going for it is the art, and even then, it's not fantastic.

The FL spends money to solve her problems. Fun, but boring. The main ML -- I think -- loves money, and developed an interest in her after she dropped mad money for information. His feelings develop after, like, two acts of good faith. What a goof. Might try and pick up again just because I saw cuter dudes in other people's albums.

This is just non-con after non-con. I thought it would be a cute, consensual thing that's similar to Regas, but it's literally SA. What's the excuse the character gives? "I don't want you to leave." As if a horrible childhood excuses chaining someone up and SA'ing them over and over. And what do you mean the victim turns out to like the assaulter? Like, genuinely what was the goal, here? I skipped 90% of it. It was fucking unbearable.

In [Chapter 16], I noticed the main character blushed because of an underage girl. His physical body may be similar in age, but his soul is so much older. What do you mean this grown man, who is at least 20 years older, is attracted to her? Hello... Knock-knock, Author.

It may not even be 20 years! He used to be some abominable scholar in this fantasy, martial arts novel. For all we know, he's super fucking ancient.

It's funny, but I have come to really hate the trope of a "cool gangster" or "buff dude" reincarnating into a thin figure. (Regas trauma; I dropped ts.) Lin Qiu/Quinton is depicted as strong here, but there's the caveat that a dominant alpha -- the main love interest -- can overpower him.

[Chapter 102] The compliments online are glaze. This shit is hot ass. The chapters are short, meaningless... I felt like I was rotting. "Classroom of the Elite"-esque "smart" MC. Very pathetic. Very embarrassing. I like slop, but holy shit, this is so glaringly horribly done. So much so, it was awarded two adverbs.

It really could have been something if there was no fucking sexual assault. Fucking hello? What the fuck is wrong with these writers?

The idea of a himbo getting with a cold-blooded killer (with a soft spot for him) is cute. Yes, there will be moral differences, but seriously. Yes, the killer can assault him, but then what should the MC do? Fucking leave and not look back. What are we teaching the audience when the MC excuses it on top of tolerating it? It's fucking insane.

[Chapter 49] I wanted to give this a chance. I remember seeing the name in passing several times back when reading yaoi was a huge thing for me. There's just so much rape. Like, an incredulous amount of dubious consent. This kind of writing really fucking sucks. The one way I can tolerate assault is when it's at its absolute minimum -- not fetishized, as it is here -- and for a purpose. To push the plot. Not because, "ha-ha, ML gets away with it because he likes MC." No.
