READ THE NOVEL PLEASE.
I didn't actually read this a whole lot. But I love this and when I read it it made me rethink life and not be suicidal. But I'm putting it on here to make sure someone reads the novel. Even if you think you aren't loved, you're wrong. YOU ARE A UNRELIABLE NARRATOR. Give it a read, don't kill yourself. The novel gets a bit slow at times but it's worth it for the ending.
I cried to this. Like a lot. Specifically the becoming homeless and abusive parents. It really hit me hard considering I also had an abusive and neglectful family and became homeless at 14. It's a really good depiction of it. But it also shows, that people are willing to be there for you, and things will get better eventually despite the trials and tribulations. If the system fails you, make a system for yourself via community.
This made me cry several times because the story was written so well, one of the best depictions of life after disability. SO RELATABLE as I was born neurodivergent, and became homeless due to an abusive family (partly due to me being queer), hit by a car at 17 and learning to adjust with my new disability. If you've ever thought "I wish I was normal" read it. Disability is one of the few minorities you can become suddenly and violently. Read it even if you're healthy.
FUJIMOTO WHEN I GET U FUJIMOTO
Made me cry. Read it. Makes you think about how you want to be remembered when you die. Maybe think about it, and consider how to show yourself in the way you want to remembered. But also it was cruel of them to do that to him. And I love unreliable narrator twists.
Chainsaw man is cool and all but have you read this?
Life is precious.
Smoking catgirl. More about severe addiction as a joke, but a fun read still. Sometimes really raunchy, but you'll feel better knowing you cannot relate to certain things, but it's also a great depiction of mental health issues which can be relatable addiction specific. They all have a addiction in different ways, and it's not glorified. But it is real if you analyse it a bit more, and if you reflect it to your own life. Where she fails, is an opportunity for your own growth.
Great adult romance. Hits my urge to smoke dramatically after work.
Just cute, kitty awwwww.
A girl-failure type read, a read for sexual orientation problems. Somewhat relatable.
