An awesome story about family. After his father remarries, Ame finds he now has 3 younger stepbrothers. The family starts settling in happily until tragedy struck - his father dies in an accident, and later his stepmother is diagnosed with cancer and doesn't have much time to live. Through it all, the 4 brothers stick together and continue with their family coffee shop, supporting one another.
One of the mangaka's work with a more serious theme - abusive (physical) relationship (both in a gay relationship and a married couple's). But the same "feels" that's part of this author's storytelling is there - funny, fluffy...but with the hint of angst.
This is the first manga I read by the author. It's what got me hooked to Yamamoto Kotetsuko sensei's other works. The element of fluffy, funny romance is so expertly woven into the story.
Daisuke Ootaka decided to attend Torioka University, the same uni his grandfather attend. He planned to attend the same baseball club/team as well. He starts to regret his decision as soon as he arrives - but is comedically blackmailed by the captain.
Hilarious.
Satou Hiroshi is cute and kind, but is known more for his "bad luck". Because of this, many of his relationships never lasted long. Tsumabuki Kasumi, has an unusual encounter with Hiroshi after witnessing one of the break-ups. They start dating and soon the "bad luck" bug (in the story, it's sometimes referred as "allergy") starts following them around,
