I'm not a huge fan of one shots, but this one is gold. YONEDA Kou knows how to make complex characters, unique stories, real chemistry and tension that barely can hold you on your sits.
I've read this story few months ago at some other place. It's very good thriller with lot of suspense, interesting plot and unique atmosphere. The art might be not your cup of tea at first, but as more you'll dive into the story as more you get involved with all that craziness that characters are going through. It's really good story.
This manga taught me one thing: Do not judge anything according to a review or ratings. This was very realistic and unique story, but should I say it's more for an adult audience than for a young mind. You won't find anything cute or typical most of yaoi mangas are filled with. This is a story of two adult men with quite complicated view or better say choice for love.
Have you ever found yourself sitting quietly on the lonely shore? Have you ever felt a warming breeze stroking you tired body? Have you ever felt this faint taste of salt on your toungue, a little ticklish and yet gentle? Well, that's what this story is about - a tenderness of a lonely sea.
The sequel to Kyuuso Ha Cheese no Yume Omiru and I said everything what needs to be said about this obsessive beauty.
Even if the art style is pretty simple the story itself isn't quite so. The dynamic between main characters, their emotions and attachment to one another was the reason behind my own attachment to their life. There are a lot of funny moments, pure love even if a little twisted and overall the whole experience while I was on the ride with boys was very unique. Good and light story.
When you lose faith in yourself, when you face one fail after another, when future holds only obscurity, you often find yourself on the crossroad between of who you were and who you are - a lonely child with shattered dreams, until somebody come into your life to remind that dreams are over only when we are. That's what this story is about.
I'm a fan of OGERETSU Tanaka work. The girl has a talent to express such a huge variety of emotions in static images that I only can applaud. Escape Journey was one of those works. Tender, emotional, wild and beautiful. The plot is simple but the way it's presented is what hooked me up until the very last frame. The characters are lovable, the art is amazing, the atmosphere is soothing, the passion is real.
